"Animals are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." -Roger Caras

We are a young family that occasionally rescues dogs in our area. Our focus is on big dogs that need a place to rest and recover, before finding their forever homes.

We rescued our first dog after seeing an online ad asking for help. A female husky had been abandoned after her owner was unable to take care of her. The husky was underweight, losing fur, and had a red bulging eye. After two grooming sessions, two vet appointments, and a lot of TLC, she was a brand-new pup and found her forever home. The process was so rewarding; we decided to make it a family fixture.

Our aim is to reduce the number of dogs without forever homes in Central Texas through spaying/neutering rescued dogs, educating the public, and placing dogs in need in their forever homes.

About Us

Our Process

Time is a big factor in our recovery process. A pet stays with us for a minimum of 1-2 months. This allows enough time for them to put on healthy weight, recover physically, and adjust to their role as a family pet.

During their time with us, they receive:

  1. Initial Vet Examination

  2. Necessary Follow-Up Treatments

  3. Vaccinations

  4. Spay/Neuter

  5. Grooming Sessions

  6. Flea/Tick Prevention

  7. Heartworm Prevention

A pet that we rescue is treated like our own.
